Recipe: Veggie, Salsa, Cheese and Guacamole Salad
Prep all the veggies you want to include in the salad! I made this guacamole with onion, tomatoes, half an avocado and spices. |
Place 8" multigrain tortillas in these taco bowl shells. They can be found at Wal-Mart and take approximated 5-7 minutes in the oven. All directions can be found in the box once you purchase the bowls! |
Set your table up with cut up veggies, salsa, shredded cheese, guacamole and the tortilla bowls! |
Start filling your bowl with all the ingredients you want, layer by layer! |
Take a pic and head to your TV! |
ENJOY! |
Each bowl is approximately 300 calories (depending on how much you fill it) and is a really tasty, simple snack to have when entertaining. Of course you can add taco meat, beans, chilli, chicken or anything else to make it more of a taco salad but I felt like keeping mine low cal and vegetarian. The bowls can also be used as serving dishes for salsa or guacamole throughout the night! Get creative and have a great super bowl feast!
